ABOUT

If you’re looking to visit Nauru, this page is sure to provide some useful information.

Nauru is one of the smallest countries in the world, amassing only 21 square kilometres and is only 6 kilometres wide at its widest.

The main language spoken in Nauru is Nauruan, although English is also widely spoken. Visitors to Nauru need to apply for a visa prior to arriving in Nauru.

CLIMATE

Nauru is only approximately 40 kilometres away from the equator, and so its climate is tropical and has warm temperatures all year round.

Fortunately, the temperatures between 24 degrees Celsius and 34 degrees Celcius are kept down by sea breezes which can be felt from most parts of the island.
